Shasta College, Redding, California with Sierra Pacific Industries and featuring a recent student on her experience.

This is the beginning of ATEA's programming on the convergence of technologies among sectors identifying the common core for employment.   The series will be through the lens of Forest Industry. ATEA Board member and Business member, Marie Price, Idaho Forest Group, will be the chair through this series, in conjunction with Shasta College, Becky Roe, Senior Project Coordinator,Forest Health and Logging.  ATEA  and Shasta College will look at the Forest Industry from logging and transportation, to manufactured products, to use of forest byproducts to forest renewal.  

We start with Shasta College's new program and grants in Heavy Equipment Logging and Transportation.
